Russell Ramp

Russell Martin Ramp, 92, a native of Williamsfield, Ill., and resident of 
Schriever, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2005.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairfield Cemetery in Newman, 
Ill.

He is survived by one daughter, Russella Ramp McSparrin and husband, Bud, of 
Schriever; one brother, Floyd Ramp of Oberlin, Ohio; one sister, Mildred Peiz of 
Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren, Natalie Gaidry DeAngelia, Roberta Louraine 
Gaidry, Laura Gaidry Bell and Mary Elizabeth Billings; and four great-
grandchildren, Trevor Alexander Billings, Douglas Stephen Pecot, Miranda Leigh 
Pecot and Ruth Anne Pecot.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Jahns Ramp; his parents, Waldo 
Lester Ramp and Luta Martin Ramp; one daughter, Marilyn Ramp; one brother, 
Willis Ramp; and two sisters, Doris Surbaugh and Dorthea Chaffee.

He was a retired agricultural engineer and a member of the International Rotary 
Club and International Society of Agricultural Engineers.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
