Savoie, 81, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005. A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, with a gathering to follow in the church hall. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Savoie; one daughter, Linda A. Morton; two grandchildren, Heath R. Elsensohn and Jason T. Morton; and one great-grandchild, Nathan Dean Elsensohn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dozilla Kraemer Legnon; and one brother, Lawrence Eschette. She was retired and was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and goldfish. Memorial donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice. Samart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
