Vivian Roundtree

Vivian Falgout Gaubert Roundtree, 83, a native of Gray and resident of 
Thibodaux, died at 11:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in 
St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Ellis J. Roundtree Jr. and David Dennis Roundtree; 
three daughters, Linda Roundtree Knight, Clair Roundtree Poirrier and Susan 
Roundtree Bourgeois; one brother, Frank Falgout; two sisters, Helda Falgout 
Gonzales and Theresa Falgout Hebert; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyril E. Gaubert; her second 
husband, Ellis J. Roundtree Sr.; her parents, Joseph Chester and Lena Champagne 
Falgout; one son, Jerry P. Roundtree; one brother, Patrick "Pat" Falgout; and 
two sisters, Estelle Falgout Bergeron and Gladys Falgout Dupre.

She was Catholic and a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the 
American Heart Association.
