Please go to http://www.rootsweb.com/%7eusgenweb/la/terrebonne/obits/2007/t0706.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Kris "Rusty" Bouldin, 34, a native of Houma and resident of Houston, died Sunday, June 17, 2007. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. He is survived by his fiancée, Christina Meiburger; his parents, Sheila Bergeron Allredge and Glen Allredge; his grandparents, John and Lillian Bergeron; two uncles, Michael and Kenneth Bergeron; three aunts, Cindy Bergeron, Myra Gautreaux and Karen Montgomery; and numerous cousins. He followed his mom from Louisiana to Colorado and back again and again, thus developing a traveler's outlook. After obtaining his GED in Houston, he traveled across the southeast from Georgia to Florida obtaining a trade in ceiling-tile installation. He said that while walking on the 8-foot stilts with his music playing, he felt like he was walking on top of the world. He loved to travel, explore, fish, ride his motorcycle, play with his cats and love his fiancée, Christina. Three weeks ago, he and Christina rejoined his parents in Houston to begin a business of his own in his trade. Rusty and Christina seemed like reflections of his parents, although Rusty was the mirror of his mom, while Christina reflected Rusty's dad's stability. Rusty and his mom loved to dream, or "enjoyed just thinking" is how the two of them explained. Rusty loved fishing with his grandpa and his dad. He loved everything about the bayous; the smell, the color of the brackish water and the feel of the fish grabbing his hook. And, if he brought the biggest fish home, well, that made his day. Rusty loved the moon, the feel of the sun on his face, and Christina next to him. He was looking forward to following in his father's footsteps by running a successful business, being married to the woman he loved most in his life and having children. Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================== June 21. 2007 9:38AM Christopher Breaux Picture ========== A photo is available for this file.
