AVET, aged 42 years, died at his home 117 Josephine St. at 12:15 o'clock PM on Thursday, January 24, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. AVET was a mechanic at the Pelican Lake and Canning Company here for several years. His passing is mourned by a large number of friends and relatives in Terrebonne Parish. The funeral services were held at St. Francis de Sales Church in Houma on Friday, January 25 at 2:30 o clock PM. Interment took place in Catholic Cemetery.
