The Houma Times; Saturday November 2, 1929 

Mrs. Lauvinia BELANGER

Mrs. Lauvinia BELANGER, a native and life long resident of Terrebonne Parish, 
who died at her home in Houma on Saturday, was held at the St. Francis de Sales 
Church on Sunday.
Mrs. BELANGER was before her marriage, Miss Lauvinia VITO.  Deceased was 83 
years of age.  
She leaves four children, Misses Emily  and Bernice BELANGER, and Mr. Clodio 
BELANGER, of Houma and Mrs. D. TODWIN of Florida.

Marie LECOMPTE BELANGER

Mrs. F. A. BELANGER, who was before her marriage, Miss Marie LECOMPTE, died in 
New Orleans on Sunday, at the age of 20 years.  
The funeral services were held at the St. Francis de Sales Church on Monday at 
10:30 am, with interment in the Catholic Cemetery.
