Eva CANTRELLE COURREGES

Mother of Local Man Dies Last Tuesday

Funeral Services for Mrs. Eva CANTRELLE COURREGES, 76, wife of the late Charles 
Ernest COURREGES of  Donaldsonville were held at the Catholic church in 
Donaldsonville with interment in the Catholic cemetery.  
Mrs. COURREGES, a native of St. James Parish, has been a resident of 
Donoldsonville for 30 years and died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7.  She had 
been in poor health for the past two years.
She is survived by Mesdames F. K. SIMS and O. J. DAIGLE of Donaldsonville, a 
brother, Claude MALLORY of Mineola, Tex, a sister, Philomene of Lake Charles 
and five sons, Xavier F. and N. L. of ElPaso, Tex, Rene, U. S. Army, Canal 
Zone;  A. J. of Natchitoches, LA;  and R. W. COURREGES of Houma.
