The Houma Times; Saturday February 23, 1929 

Mathilde BONVILLAIN GIROIR

Mrs. M. C. Giroir, (Nee Mathilde Bonvillain), died at her residence on Ruth 
Street, Friday February 15th, 1929, at 3:10 am, after an illness of several 
months.  Mrs. BONVILLAIN was 62 years of age and a native of this parish.  She 
was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and leaves many relatives to mourn her 
death.
The funeral services were held at the St. Francis de Sales Church in  Houma, 
Saturday, February 16 at the 8:30 am Mass.  Interment took place in the 
Catholic Cemetery.
