MRS Wilhelmina HARTZ
Mrs. Wilhelmina HARTZ, mother of Mrs. Robt. B. BUTLER, died Friday afternoon of 
last week, October 19, at the BUTLER home on Gabasse Street.  Besides Mrs. 
BUTLER, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. MCMATTES of New Iberia, 
Mrs. E. C. VERRET of New Orleans, and Miss Elizabeth HARTZ who lives with her 
sister in Houma.
Mrs. Hartz was the widow of the late Michael HARTZ of New Iberia, and both 
natives of Wilhemstrats, Germany, though they had lived in this county since 
early childhood.  She was born June 30, 1880.  Her maiden was Wilhelmina 
FLOCKERSIE.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. I. TUCKER, pastor of St. Mathews 
Episcopal Church, with interment in Magnolia cemetery.
