Charles R. Hebert Dies
   Funeral services for Charles R. Hebert, native of Terrebonne parish, who
died in New Orleans on Sunday, January 10, were held from the funeral home
of Jacob Schoen and Son in New Orleans with interment in the Magnolia
cemetery in Houma, Monday.
  Although a native of this parish, the deceased, who was 55 years old at
the
time of his death, had resided in New Orleans for the past thirty-four
years.

Edgar Hebert
  Last rites were held at the St. Francis de Sales church and cemetery 
Sunday afternoon at 6:15 for Edgar J. Hebert, 56 years old, employee of 
the city government, who died at this residence at 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
  He leaves his widow, the former Edna Bergeron; four sons, Reynard, 
Lloyd, Edgar, Jr. and Raymond; a daughter, Betty Ann; his mother, Mrs. 
Adam Hebert; a sister, Mrs. T. Trahan; and two brothers, Joseph and 
Dennis.
  Funeral arrangements were by the St. Mary Funeral Home.

EFFIE HEBERT     Houma Courier  Newspaper date not available

Effie Louise Hebert, 81, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of 
Houma, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995.

Visitation will be from 4 to 10 pm today and 8 am to funeral time 
Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home.  Mass will be at 10 am Thursday at 
the funeral home chapel with burial in St. Louis Cemetery in Bayou 
Blue.

She is survived by two sons, Ray and Richard Hebert of Houma;  one 
daughter, Pearl Quick of Houma;  one brother, Emmett Prestenbach of 
Houma; 12 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis J. Hebert;  her 
parents, Willie and Augustine Kramer Prestenbach;  five brothers, 
Clarence, Tesmun, Wilmer, Thomas and Nave Prestenbach; and one 
grandchild.

She was the proprietor of a grocery store.

LIZZIE RICHARD HEBERT   Houma Courier Deaths, 1996, page 233 [Picture]  

Lizzie Louise Richard Hebert, 82, a native of Labadieville and resident of 
Houma, died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home.   Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in 
St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2,
She is survived by two sons, Chelsea J. Hebert Jr. of Houma and Carey J.
Hebert of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two daughters, Louis H. Fortson of Lake 
Charles, and Patsy H. McCloskey of Satellite Beach. Fla.; one brother, Leslie 
Richard of Labadieville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chelsea Joseph Hebert Sr.; her
parents, Alphonse and Julia Thibodaux Richard; five brothers, Ferdinand, 
Walter, Sidney, Walte and Tophille Richard; four sisters, Leah Blank, Ptoley 
Bertrand, Emily Alebert and Inez Roussell.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church
