SLVFR - from South Louisiana Vital Family Records by Terrebonne Genealogicial Society ============================ The Houma Times; Saturday June 15, 1929 Frederick Blackwell HORNER Mr. Frederick Blackwell NORNER, aged 38 years, died suddenly in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, June 8th, 1929. Mr. HORNER was born on Stella plantation in the Parish of Plaquemines. He was the only son of the late William G. HORNER of Pittsburgh, PA. And Lucretia M. BAIL (now Mrs. J. M. MC BRIDE of Houma) and a brother of Mrs. J. N. BLACKBURN of Houma. The funeral services were held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Orleans, Tuesday, June 11, at 11:30 am. Interment private at Metarie cemetery, New Orleans.
