OLSON, who for the past thirteen years had been a resident of Terrebonne Parish, residing at Bayou Cane, passed on to his eternal rest, on Friday afternoon, June 7th, 1929, at 4 pm and was buried in the Magnolia Cemetery last Saturday at 3 o'clock pm. The funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church. Mr. OLSON was born in Sweden, August 8, 1860 and immigrated with his parents to Henry County, Illinois at the age of eighteen months. He married Miss Adelina Sophia Nelson also of Sweden, August 17, 1885 and moved to Nebraska in 1888, and came to Louisiana in 1916. Mr. OLSON was the only one of a group of Swedish Colonist to come to Terrebonne Parish to farm some of her Prairie Lands. He leaves his wife and four children, Edwin OLSON of Concord, Neb., Mrs. J. J. MANZ of Dixon, Neb., Mrs. R. S. SEAY of New Orleans, and Mrs. C. F. SPRAGUE of Houma.
