ARTHUR L. PORCHE    The Houma Courier, Thurdsay, January 4, 1945, page 3, col. 3

Arthur L. Porche
   Last rites were held at the St. Francis de Sales church and cemetery at
9 a.m. mass, Friday, December 29 for Arthur L. Porche, a native of this
parish.
64 years old, who died at his residence here December 28.
   Survivors are his widow, the former Emma Porche; as son, Roy; and two
grandchildren, Arthur L. and Rose Marie Porche.
   Funeral arrangements were by the Chauvin Funeral Home.

WILLIE PORCHE    The Houma Times, November 30, 1929


Mr. Willie Porche, father of the assessor, Laban Porche of Houma, died Sunday 
night at his sons residence near Houma.  Mr. Porche was 59 years old and had 
been on the sick list for some time.
The funeral services took place Monday, November 25 at St. Bridget Catholic 
Church in Schriever at 3:30 pm with interment in the Catholic Cemetery.
