Mrs. Cyril Portier (Odelia Arcement)

Mrs. Cyril Portier Succumbs Wednesday 

Mrs. Cyril Portier, 81 years old
the former Miss Odelia Arcement, died September 17, at 12:25 at her 
residence at Little Caillou.

A native of this parish, the deceased leaves six sons Ernest, Clovis, 
Edward, Arthur, Clay and Serville, and two daughters Mesdames D. 
Domangue and Aurestile Pellegrin.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph's church at Little 
Caillou at 9 a.m. today with interment following the St. Joseph's 
cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by the Chauvin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edw. Portier Rites Held Today
  Last rites were held at 9 a.m. today at the St. Joseph's Catholic church
at
Little Caillou for Mrs. Edward Portier, 42 years old, a native of Little
Caillou,
who died in a New Orleans hospital yesterday at 6 a.m.
  She leaves her widower and eight children: three sons, Johnnie, Jimmie and
Harold, and five daughters, Adore, Laura Mae, Anna, Eldora and Odelia.
  Interment was in the St. Joseph's cemetery and funeral arrangements were
by the Chauvin Funeral home.

Died in Houma, at 10 A. M. January 18th, 1893, Traisimond Portier.  Deceased
was a native of Lafourche, but resided in this [Terrebonne] Parish many
years prior to his death.
