Robichaux had a lantern in his hand and probably got too near the hatch hole in the tanker, which was full of oil, when the gases arising from the tank caught fire causing the explosion. The dead man was not found until Sunday morning after an all night fight on the part of workmen to extinguish the flames. His body was found in the bottom of the tank and was taken to Houma where he was prepared for burial by local undertakers. The funeral services were held at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg, interment in St. Joseph's cemetery, Little Caillou. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Robichaux of lower Terrebonne, who are living. He left a widow and two small children.
