Houma Ceres newspaper; Thursday September 20, 1855

DIED--September 18th, at Rose Cottage, after a protracted illness, MARY LOUISA, 
only child of Josephine E., and the late Martial Verret.

"The reaper, Death has bound up the tender flower in his sheaf for his Master's 
use." Weep not, bereaved parent, the chords that bind you to heaven are only 
strengthened. The Good Shepherd has taken your little lamb in his arms to lead you 
to the green fields of endless life.
