JORDAN PLACE CEMETERY is only accessible by foot.  There is no actual road 
going to the cemetery.  It is on property owned by Ray and Pat Lowrey. She 
told us that the cemetery was in bad shape when they first bought the property, 
that it had been vandalized and markers overturned.  She said she and her 
husband cleaned it up and put most of the markers back in place as best they 
could.  She said there were about 25 + people buried there, but there were only 
8 markers remaining. From Marion take Hwy 143 to Haile.  Turn left on Dean Road, 
then left on Parsonage Loop.  The cemetery is located to the right and behind a 
white house which was a church parsonage at one time and a Jordan family lived there.

In "MISC INFO" column, "ho" means husband of, and "wo" means wife of.  If there was 
a veterans marker, it is noted in the MISC INFO with rank and branch of service and 
where served as shown on the actual marker.
