It was at one time called McGoucher Cemetery and by other names. John Matthews lived nearby and his decendants are thought to be buried there. Legend has it that this cemetery was at one time very large and was located on the corner of a crossroad. Today, there are only 10 gravestones and numerous cedar trees, but no crossroad. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. FUTCH, W.
