Milner a resident Parish of Union } of Union Parish Louisiana declares and acknowledges that for and in } consideration of a certain donation of the Sum of One hundred and fifty dollars that I have made to the Farmerville Missionary Baptist Church of Christ at Farmerville Union Parish La I have this day bargained granted given and delivered unto the following persons citizens of Union Parish La and members of the Missionary Baptist Church of said Parish to wit. Samuel J. Larkin, William A. Glasson, Simpson W. Ramsey and Reuben Ellis all of Union Parish La a certain lot or parcel of land situated in the Town of Farmerville La commencing at the corner of Franklin and Jefferson Streets...[unreadable] ...acquired by purchase of T. M. Hand to have and to hold unto them their Heirs and assigns forever for the exclusive use and benefit of the afforsaid Missionary Baptist Church to be used and forever controlled by said Church said Church having the right & privilege of inviting any & all denominations whom they may think proper to Preach or worship in the same this sale and donation being made entirely for the purpose of establishing and perpetuating the existence of said Missionary Baptist Church of Christ at Farmerville Union Parish La in testimony of which I the said Milner has signed his name to this act in presence of the under signed witnesses on this the 9th February AD 1854.
