Jarvis Administratrix Parish of Union } of the Estate of Willilam Jarvis Deceased both of the parish and State } above written have by virtue of an order Issued by the Honorable 12th judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union La to me directed and in further consideration of the sum of fifteen Dollars cash in hand paid by Jonathan Glaze and William White Decons [sic] of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, hargained sold conveyed and delivered and do by these presents this day bargain sell convey and ddeliver unto the said Jonathan Glaze and William White Deacons and their successors in office the following described Lot or parcel of Land viz. Beginning Eight Rods South of the north west corner of the South West quarter of the North East quarter of Section no Twenty nine in Township Nineteen Range one West.... making in all Two Acres of Land to be and remain for the use and benefit of the Missionary Baptist Church and Free publick school for which last named Purpose the said Glaze and White hereby agrees they acting for and in behalf of the Missionary Baptist Church called New Hope that the said lot of land shall forever be and remain free for the use and benefit of a Free Publick School together with the House standing on said lot of land or all such other Buildings as the Directors of Free publick school may erect thereon for Educational purposes and no other in full faith whereof the parties to this act do hereto sign theri names in presence of Larkin C.
