Andrews to the best of my judgment and understanding. So help me god. J. T. B. Andrews W. D. M. Bruton David McCoy L. D. Baker Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 11th day of December AD 1866. Smith, Recorder State of Louisiana Parish of Union Be it remembered that on this the 11th day of December AD one thousand eight hundred and sixty six pursuant to an order issued from the Honorable Judicial District Court in and for the said Parish and State and to me William C. Smith, Recorder &c in and for said Parish directed and authorizing me to convoke a family meeting composed of the following named citizens of said Parish, relatives and friends of the minors Otis and Joseph W. Andrews, to wit Joseph T. B. Andrews, Wm. D. M. Bruton, John B. Robinson, Sen., David McCoy and L. D. Baker convoked for the purpose of advising and recommending a suitable person to be appointed Tutor and one to be appointed Under Tutor of the above named minors, said members being first duly sworn by me proceeded to deliberate and advise on the subject matter as above stated and after mature deliberation, they advise and recommend that Mrs. Nancy F. A. Masterson, the mother of said minors be appointed Tutrix and her husband Wm. C. Masterson Co Tutor and that J. T. B. Andrews be appointed Under Tutor to said minors Otis and Joseph W. Andres on complying with the law in such cases made and provided. Thus done and signed in the Parish of Union at the late residence of E. O. J. Andrews, Deceased in the presence of the undersigned lawful and competent witnesses called for the purpose and me Recorder the day and date above written. ATTEST: T. S. Cooper J. T. B. Andrews G. T. Robinson State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union The premises considered, it is hereby ordered and decreed that Mrs. Mary F. Masterson be and she is hereby appointed Tutrix to her minor children Otis and J. W. Andrews upon her giving bond according to law and that her husband Wm. C. Masterson be and he is hereby appointed Co Tutor with her and that J. T. B. Andrews be and he is hereby appointed Under Tutor to the said minors.
