The petition of Wyatt Auld, a resident of your Parish and State aforesaid respectfully shows that about the month of May AD 1860, Georgia Ann Williams, late the wife of your petitioner departed this life in said Parish of union leaving at her death the following minor children, Anna Eliza Auld and George R. Auld issue of the marriage of deceased with your petitioner, that since that time one of the above mentioned minors to wit Anna Eliza auld has died leaving George R. Auld the sole legal heir of deceased. Petitioner represents that the said minor inherits from his Grandfather’s Estate, Estate of John Williams, Decd. a small amount of property and is also entitled to the interest of said mother in that community of requests and gains existing between said deceased and petitioner. Petitioner avers that he is the father of said minor and his natural tutor. Wherefore he prays that he be confirmed by your honorable court as Natural Tutor of the minor George R. Auld and that upon his taking the required oath that letters of tutorship be granted him and also that an Under Tutor be appointed and for all orders and decrees necessary in the premises and for general relief &c. Auld State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union The premises considered, it is ordered and decreed that the prayer of the within application be granted and that J. Wyatt Auld be and he is hereby appointed Natural Tutor to his following named minor child to wit: George R. Auld and that John R. Auld be appointed Under Tutor to said minor and that upon their taking the oath of Tutor and Under tutor that letters as such do issue to them. Wyatt Auld do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all the duties incumbent upon me as Natural Tutor of my following named minor child to wit: George R. Auld heir of the Estate of Georgia Ann Williams, Deceased according to the best of my ability and understanding. So help me God. James W. Auld State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union Whereas J. Wyatt Auld has been duly and legally appointed Natural Tutor of his following minor child to wit: George R. Auld heir of the Estate of Georgia Ann Auld, Deceased and he has taken the oath Prescribed by law. Now therefore the said J. Wyatt Auld is hereby duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all the acts appertaining to said appointmentsaccording to Law.
