The petition of John R. Clark, a resident of the said parish respectfully represents that John A. Barham, late a resident of said parish, departed this life on or about the 15th March 1862 leaving a widow, Mary C. Clark, and three minor heirs, William T., John T. and Martha A. Barham, also an estate consisting of real and person effects, rights and credits. Petitioner prays for an Inventory and appraisement and that he may be appointed Admr. of said Estate and for such other orders in the premises as the case requires. H. Regenburg, Atty. State of Louisiana Parish of Union Ordered that that within application be advertised according to law and further that W. C. Smith, Recorder &c be and he is hereby authorized to make an Inventory of the Estate of John T. Barham, Decd. and due return thereof make without delay. Done and signed in office April 29th 1863. J. Barham, Decd. 11th District Court Whereas, John R. Clark has this day been duly and legally appointed Administrator of the Estate of John A. Barham, Decd. And therefore the said John R. Clark is duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all acts appertaining to said appointment according to law. Given under my hand and the seal of said court, May 13th 1863. J. L. Bolton and Elijah Tabor as his securities are held and firmly bound unto W. B. Eagan, Judge of the 11th District Court for the time being or to his Successors in office in the just and full sum of [blank] Dollars to the true and faithful payment thereof well and truly to be made. We bind ourselves, our heirs and assigns finally by these presents. Dated Farmerville, La. May 15th 1863. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Jno. R. Clark has been duly and legally appointed Administrator of the Estate of John A. Barham, Decd. and he has taken the oath prescribed by law. Now therefore if the said Jno. R. Clark shall faithfully and impartially discharge all and singular the duties incumbent on him as Administrator and shall faithfu7lly account to the Judge of said Court for all his acts and doings in and about said Estate and shall render a true account of all the monies received by him belonging to said Estate as well as all property of whatever nature and where ever legally required so to do pay over all sums of money or other property to the proper person or persons to receive the same, then this obligation to be null and void, otherwise to be in force and effect. The petition of John R. Clark of said Parish Administrator of the Estate of John A. Barham, Decd. respectfully represents that the personal property of said Estate is subject to waste, loss and expensive to keep and unproductive to the Estate. He therefore prays that the same may be sold. He prays for an order of sale directing the whole of the personal property of the Estate of john A. Barham to be sold according to law, that he be authorized to make said sale and that said sale be on a credit of twelve months, purchasers giving their notes with approved security in solido. Petitioner prays for such other orders and decrees in the premises as may be necessary. H. Regenburg, Atty. State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Let the prayer of the within application be granted and it is ordered and decreed that all the personal property belonging to the Estate of John A. Barham be sold in accordance with Articles 990, 991, 992, Code of Practice. It is further ordered that John R.
