Before me William C. Smith Recorder and Exoffisis notary public in for said 
parish and State personally came snd appeared Uriah Bass, Gabriel Plummer and 
William Plummer all of the parish of Union. Gabriel Plummer acclaims and 
acknowledges, that with the assistance of William Plummer his Under Tutor he 
has made a settlement with the said Uriah Bass his Tutor, and that he has 
received of his said Tutor the following property to wit.
     Darcas, a black woman 45 years old
             a black woman 25 years old
     Wiley,  a black boy    9 years old
             "  "    "      7 years old
             "  "    "      5 years old
     Elias   "  "    "      2 years old
     Margaret a yellow woman 23 "    "
       Alfy    a yellow boy   4 years
       Alice  "   "     girl  2 years
     Lizzy     a black girl   18 "
     Robert    yellow boy     14 "
     Roan     "    "          12 "
     and       yellow girl     9 "  (possibly Lapley)
and that his said Tutor further has paid him the said Gabriel Plummer the sum 
of eight-hundred and nineteen dollars and twenty-six cents being the amount 
due by him as per judgement of the(Hon.) the 12th District Court in a foresaid 
parish homolagating his final account as Tutor.
    All of which he hereby acknowledges and hereby acclaims that he fully and 
finally discharges him his said tutor of all further liability as such.
     To which the said William Plummer also gives his assent and he also 
approves of the said Settlement.
    In testimony whereof I have caused the said Gabriel Plummer Uriah Bass 
Tutor and William Plummer under Tutor to sign this instrument which I have 
signed as Recorder and note pub? on this second March AD 1860.
