Cooper be and she is hereby appointed and confirmed as Natural Tutrix of her following named minor children and heirs of the Estate of Hiram Cooper, Decd. to wit: Martha M., John H. and Hiram A. Cooper and that Wm. D. Cooper be and he is hereby appointed under Tutor to said minors and upon them taking the oath prescribed by law, that letters of Tutorship and Under Tutorship do issue to them. Done and signed in office on this the 10th day of October AD 1864. Thos. C. Lewis Clerk, District Court State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union I, William D. Cooper do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially perform all the duties incumbent on me as Under Tutor to the following minor heirs of the Estate of Hiram Cooper, Decd. to wit: Martha M., John H., and Hiram A. Cooper according to the best of my ability and understanding. So help me God. Wm. D. Cooper Sworn to and subscribed before me this 10th day of October AD 1864. Thos. C. Cooper has this day been duly and legally appointed Under Tutor to the following minor heirs of the Estate of Hiram Cooper, Decd. to wit: Martha M., John H. and Hiram A. Cooper Decd. He has taken the oath prescribed by law. Now, therefore the said William D. Cooper is hereby duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all the acts appertaining to said appointment according to law.
