Underwood, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all the duties incumbent upon me as Under tutor of my following named minor children to wit, Andrew A. and Wm. Doty her husband co. tutor of the minors Andrew A., W. T., James M. and Peter Joseph Cooper all of the Parish and State aforesaid respectfully shows that they have filed a full and complete account of the Tutorship up to this date to wit, January 1st 1867. They pray that James Underwood be appointed Under Tutor to the said minors in a place of W. S. McGough, Decd. contradictionally [sic] with whom after due notice they pray that the same account be approved and homologated for all orders and decrees necessary and for general relief &c. Jno. Barrett Atty. For Tutor State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of union The premises considered, it is hereby ordered that James M. Underwood be and he is hereby appointed Under Tutor to the minors William T., James M. and Peter Joseph Cooper on his taking the oath prescribed by law.
