J. H. Guinn served as a private in Company C, 13th Battalion Louisiana Infantry, also known as the Partisan Rangers. He enlisted 1 August 186- at Bastrop, in neighboring Morehouse Parish. He was present on the rolls from November 1862 through 30 April 1863. There is no further military record of him. Presumably this is the same man as John H. Guinn of Union Parish. ================================================================================== ================================================================================== ================================================================================= ================================================================================= Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book F, pp. 148 - 155 ================================================================================== ================================================================================== To the Honorable John D.
