Jameson, Union Parish Louisiana Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book F, pp. 1 - 11 Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book F, pp. 472 – 474, 474 - 481 ================================================================================= ================================================================================= NOTE: David M. Jameson was a physician who lived in Spearsville in 1860. He was a native of Pennsylvania, and he owned a large estate of land and slaves. His succession below suggests that he had acquired a large medical practice. The 1860 census indicates that he was born about 1819, so he could have left Louisiana for Mississippi in association with the Confederate Army. I have found no military record for him, however. ================================================================================= ================================================================================= ================================================================================= ================================================================================= Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book F, pp. 1 - 11 ================================================================================= ================================================================================= Petition for Administrator and Tutorship To the Honorable the Judge or the clerk for the Eleventh Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union, State of Louisiana. Wherefore she prays that this her account and statement be advertised according to Law and after the legal delays the same be approved and ho9mologated in all particulars and that she be authorized to pay all in full those claims set forth as mortgage debts fifty cents on the dollar to be paid January 1st 1867 and further that she be authorized to pay fifty cents on the dollar on all the ordinary debts therein set forth as soon as this order is rendered and that her administration be extended for the term of twelve months for all further orders and decrees necessary and for general relief.
