Lassiter heirs, Union Parish Louisiana Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book E, pp. 725 - 726 ================================================================================== To the Honorable the Judge of the 11th Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union, Louisiana The petition of Joseph Baker, a resident of said Parish. Tutor, duly appointed by your Honorable Court to the minor heir of Isaac N. Lassiter herewith files his final account as follows. Amount of charges: He charges himself with the sum of six hundred dollars for hire of the slaves of said minors for the year 1861 $600.00 Amount of Credits: He prays to be credited by amounts paid out for them as follows: Voucher 1 Thos. Silman 81.00 Voucher 7 Jas. L. Guthrie, Clerk 7.00 Voucher 8 H. Regenburg, Atty. fees 50.00 Voucher 9 Joseph Baker, Expenses 20.00 Voucher 10 Dr. B. H. Dillard 5.00 Voucher 11 Tutor commission 60.00 Voucher 12 Dr. Jeff F. Fuller 21.00 Voucher 13 J. E. Trimble & Bolton's accts. __71.58 Amounts of credits $769.41 By reference to which it will be seen that he has received of these funds and is charged with $600.00 That he has paid out __769.41 Leaving due tutor $169.41 He represents that the said minor heirs now are in the state of Texas and that their mother Sarah J. Sandifer has been appointed Guardian of their personal property there and given bond &c according to the laws of that State. He therefore prays that this account may be duly homolgated and allowed and that on Judgment being rendered on the same his land may be canceled. He prays that W. C. Smith be duly cited to examine this account and for general relief. H. Regenburg State of Louisiana Parish of Union By reason of the law and the evidence and by further reason of the under tutor having approved of the final act it is ordered adjudged and decreed that the within account of Joseph Baker, Tutor be and it is hereby approved and homolgated in all its parts according to law. Given under my hand and the seal of the 11th District Court, Parish and State aforesaid. Jas. L.
