State of Louisiana Process verbal Sale Parish of Union Be it remembered that on the 15th day of December AD 1866, in pursuance of the authority vested in me by law as Administrator of the Estate of Robert F. McAdams, decd. I, James W. Reed, did offer for Sale to the last and highest bidder between the legal hours of sale after due and legal advertisement all of the property belonging to the said estate when the following named persons became the purchasers that being the last and highest bidders as follows. Mrs. Penelope McAdams bought 75 acres of Land more or less described as follows to wit the N. E. 1/4 of S. W. 1/4 of Section 25, Township 23 North of Range 2 West and the South Est 1/4 of N. W. 1/4 Same Section Township and Range less five acres Total amount Seventy five acres more or less @ $187.50. Now therefore this being all the property belonging to the said Estate, and the above named purchaser having complied with the terms of the Sale. I, James W. Reid by virtue of the Authority vested in me as above stated do by these presents sell transfer and declare unto the said purchasers all the said property purchased by her respectfully guaranteeing unto her all the rights vested in said.
