The petition of David J. McAdams, a resident of Union Parish, Louisiana, with respect represents: I. That your applicant had one son, named Joe F. McAdams, who resided in Arkansas at the time of his death, that said son of his died in December 1921, and that said party died intestate, leaving as issue of his former marriages Five (5) children. II. Shows that the said decedent was twice married, married first time to Miss Thoebe Blue, who died about five (5) years ago, leaving two children, namely; Jenece and Pauline McAdams, which two said children are minors, and are now with your applicant, grand father of said children; that he was married the second time to Miss Sue Priddy, and by marriage with her, had as issue, three children, who are now minors, and all three residing in Arkansas. III. Shows that the two first named children, minors, aged Five and Seven live in Union Parish, and have been in the custody of their grand father, D. J. McAdams since he death of their father, and shows that said children are unprovided with a Tutor. IV. Shows that there is no one else in this Parish who can lawfully claim the tutorship of said children, that the said children have an interest in several hundred dollars worth of life insurance, the payment of which has been held up until the proper Tutor has been appointed under the laws of Louisiana. V. That an inventory of the property, rights and effects of the said decedent, located in Union Parish, Louisiana, should now be made before some competent Notary Public, and he suggests E. L. Ramsey, Notary Public, as a proper officer suitable to make said inventory. VI. That after said inventory has been made he desires to be appointed Tutor of the said children. Wherefore, applicant prays that an inventory be made of the Estate, property, rights and credits of the decedent before some competent Notary Public, and that thereafter, the same be filed in the Clerk's Office according to law, and for all general relief necessary in the premises. Ramsey, Notary Public, with the appraisers as named in the order of the Court, the same filed and that said abstract shows no real estate, and only an interest by two minors, Jenece and Pauline McAdams, three Hundred Dollars, Life Insurance in their favor. II. Shows that your applicant now desires to be appointed Tutor of said minors, and recommends as Under-tutor James F. Vickers, who is an uncle by marriage of said children, and residing in Union Parish, Louisiana. III.
