McCormic heirs, Union Parish Louisiana Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book E, pp. 731 - 733 ================================================================================== To the Honorable the Judge of the Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union, State of Louisiana and to the clerk thereof. Your petitioner Francis McCormic, a resident of the Parish and State aforesaid respectfully represents that he has been duly appointed and confirmed as Natural Tutor to his minor children, the issue of his marriage with Catherine M. McCormic, now decd. to wit: Mary A. McCormic, Julia McCormic, Benj. B. McCormic, Saml. C. McCormic and George L. McCormic. He further represents that on the 27th day of January 1860 by order of your Honorable court there was a petition of the Estate of the said C. M. McCormic, Decd. duly made before W. C. Smith, parish Recorder and Ex Officio Notary Public in and for your said Parish and State which is hereto annexed for reference and marked A. He further represents that he herewith files his final account as to Mary A. McCormic. She having arrived to the age of majority and herewith files his early account from January 29 to December 1861 with his other children, heirs of said Estate of C. McCormic, Decd., they being still minors to wit: Julia, Benj. B., Saml. C., and George L. McCormic. He represents that he has had them with him since the death of their mother, that he has clothed them had them at school whenever convenient and has paid all their medical accounts for which you petitioner has never charged them [unreadable'. So far as the interest on their respective amounts received or per partition. Wherefore your petitioner prays that Thos. Milsap, Under Tutor to said minors and the said Mary F. McCormic be duly cited to appear in your Honorable Court and answer hereto and that after a final hearing that his account be approved and homolgated in all its parts and that he be ordered to pay over to the said Mary A. McCormic the amount due her and for all orders and decrees necessary in the premised and for full and general relief. McCormic from January 1859 to December 1861 to amount received as per partition Marked A 468.07 State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union By reason of the law and the evidence being in favor of the Tutor and by further reason of the approval by the Under Tutor and no opposition having been filed, it is ordered and decreed that the within act of Francis McCormic be and the same is hereby duly homolgated and approved in all its parts. Homolgation of the final act filed by Francis McCormic Julias C. Hudleburg being sworn says he saw Thos. Milsap, Under Tutor to the minors of said Succession and also Mary A. McCormic sign the acknowledgement of service of the petitioner and approve of account of said Succession of Catherine McCormic, Decd. on the 7th of November 1861. Julias C.
