MOORE, DECEASED. BOOK 7, PAGE 130 No. 249. Tutorship of Leslie Moore, the minor heir of John P. Moore, deceased. Petition and Order for Family meeting, filed Nov. 3, 1913. To the Honorable Fourth District court, parish of Union, State of Louisiana: The petition of Mrs. Fannie Moore, Natural Tutrix of the minor Leslie Moore, with respect shows: That siad minor owns in indivision an undivided one-fifteenth interest in and to all the real and personal property belonging to and composing the estate of Richard T. Moore deceasedsaid minor being the grandchild of said decedent; that said minor's four brothers and sisters namely: Mrs. Allie E. Robichaux, wife of Alcide Robichaux; A. C. Moore, William L. Moore and Nan Moore each own an undivided one-fifteenth interest in said estate; that John R. Hammock owns an undivided one-third interest in said estate; that said minor and said majors are unwilling to remain longer in indivision with theirco-proprietors and desire to effect a partition of all of said property by private sale, exchange or otherwise; that John R. Hammock of the parish of Union has offered to purchase said minors interest in said real estate or to exchange in lieu thereof real estate in which the said John R. Hammock is interested; that it is to the best interest of said minor that said partition be made as early as is convenient and that it be made by private sale, in order that time and expense may be economized. Petitioner shows further that in order to effect said partition, by sale or exchange, it is necessary that a family meeting by duly convened to deliberate on the advisibility of selling or exchanging said minors interest in said estate for the purpose aforesaid; and that the following nearest relatives of said minors residing within the radius prescribed by law should compose said family meeting, namely: T. R. Wade, Robert Wade, William Wade, Thomas J. Moore and C. C. Moore, the first three named being first cousins to said minors and the last two named being second cousins to said minors. Wherefore, petitioner pays [prays?] that an order issue from this court for a family meeting to be held in behalf of said minor before William F. Grafton, Notary Public in and for Union Parish on the 4th day of ovember 1913, to deliberate upon the subject matter of this petition; that a commission issue to said natory authorizing and empowering him ------- [balance of document on another page, not currently available] # # #
