David Reden Sworn to and subscribed before me this 2nd day January 1846. John Taylor, Judge State of Louisiana Parish of Union In pursuance of the above oath and the further oath of his faithful performance of the duties, I have appointed David Redden, Curator of the Estate and Succession of the said Samuel Newman, Deceased to settle up said Estate in a summary manner he is therefore fully authorized and empowered to discharge all and singular the duties appertaining to the said appointment according to Law. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto signed my name and affixed my seal of office on this 2nd day of January AD 1846.
