Parks, Deceased, of Union Parish Louisiana Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book G, pp. 547 - 549 ======================================================================================= ======================================================================================= NOTE: The 1870 Mortality Schedule reports that William Park died in December 1869 at age 47 of Intermittent fever or swamp fever. He was a farmer born in Georgia and lived near Marion. The 1870 census shows his widow, Ella Parks, born in Alabama about 1845. Ella lived with Levi Parks, born about 1845 in Louisiana. Levi is presumably her step-son, as the record below states that Ella's daughter, Ella Jack Park, was the youngest of six children of William A. Parks. Oddly, Ella's child does not appear on the 1880 census. It is unclear whether she died between February 1870 and the time the census enumerator visited or was living elsewhere. ======================================================================================= ======================================================================================= To the Honorable the Judge of the Parish Court of the Parish Union, State of Louisiana.
