Rabun, Heir of Estate of V. A. Rabun Abstract of Inventory: Filed April 9, 1885 State of Louisiana Clerk’s Office Parish of Union I, James M. Smith, Clerk of the Third Judicial District Court in and for the aforesaid parish and State do hereby certify that the amount of property both real and personal belonging to and composing the Estate of Virgil A. Rabun, deceased, as shown by the inventory taken by Wm. W. Heard, Notary Public for said Parish and State and now on file in my office in the sum of Six Thousand and Seventeen and 90 ½ /100 Dollars, that of this amount Four Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty one and 95/100 Dollars comprises the personal individual effects of deceased, that the sum of Nine Hundred and Eighteen and 95 ½ /100 dollars comprising the interest deceased owned in the partnership with J. A. B. Rabun and that the remainder of said [unreadable] Six Hundred and Seventy Seven dollars comprise the real Estate belonging to said Succession and that said real estate as shown by said inventory is described as follows: A house and lot in Farmerville, La. known as the Fenton house & described as beginning on Main & Jackson streets & running North 40 feet, East 109 ½ feet, South 40 feet & West 109 ½ feet & described more minutely in deed from Geo. Fenton to deed appraised at $500. Also a tract of land in Homestead County, Ark. Described as the E ½ of NE free of [unreadable] of Sec. 6 T. 13 South Range 22 West 77 acres appraised at $77.00 making the real estate appraisement the sum of six hundred and seventy seven dollars as above.
