The petition of Royal K. Love, a resident of said Parish respectfully represents that J. H. Robinson, late of said parish departed this life sometime in February last, according to the best information Petitioner can receive, intestate leaving an Estate consisting of real and personal property, rights and credits. Petitioner represents that he was the agent of the deceased and that part of the property is in his hands. He represents that the heirs of the Estate are residing in the state of Alabama and are not being represented. He therefore prays that he may be appointed Administrator of the said Estate, that an Inventory and Appraisement may be had according to law, and for such other proceedings as the case requires. H. Regenburg, Atty. It is ordered that this application be advertised according to law [blank] and that W. C. Smith, Recorder &c make an Inventory of the Estate of J. H. Robinson, Decd. and return thereof make to this office without delay. Done and signed in office January 1st 1863. J. L. Guthrie, Clerk State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union The premises considered and by reason of the proper advertisement having been made and no opposition filed thereby, it is ordered and decreed that Royal K. Love be appointed Administrator of the Estate of J. H. Robinson, Decd. Done and signed in office this the 11th November AD 1863. D. Arent Deputy Clerk State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union I, Royal K. Love do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all the acts incumbent on me as Administrator of the Estate of James H. Robinson, Decd. to the best of my knowledge and ability. So help me God. Royal K. Love Sworn to and subscribed before me this 11th day of November AD 1863. D. Arent Deputy Clerk State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union Whereas, Royal K. Love has been duly and legally appointed Administrator of the Estate of J. H. Robinson, Decd. and he has given bond and good security and has taken the oath prescribed by law. Now therefore, the said Royal K. Love is hereby duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all acts appertaining to said appointment according to law. Given under my hand and the seal of office this the 28th November 1863. J. L. Guthrie, Clerk State of Louisiana Parish of Union Know all men by these presents that we, Royal K. Love as principal and Jared Robinson as his security are held and firmly bound unto W. B. Egan, Judge of the 11th Judicial District Court in and for the said Parish and State or to his successors in office in the just and full sum of three thousand one hundred dollars ($3100.00) with true and faithful payment whereof well and truly to be made. We bind ourselves, our heirs, assigns, administrators and legal representatives firmly by these presents. Dated at Farmerville, Louisiana November 11th AD 1863. The condition of this obligation is such that the above bounden Royal K. Love has been appointed Administrator of the Estate of J. H. Robinson and he has taken the oath prescribed by law. Now therefore, if the said Royal K. Love shall truly and impartially discharge all the duties incumbent on him as Administrator of said Estate and shall render to the Judge of said Court a true and faithful account of all his acts and doings in and about said Estate and shall whenever legally required so to do pay over all sums of money or other property belonging to said Estate to the proper person to receive the same, then and in that case, the above obligation to be null and void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue against the principal and his said security.
