Bar, and Frances E. Sisson a minor and an estate consisting of real and personal property. Petitioner prays that an Inventory may be made and after due and legal formalities, she may be appointed Administratrix of said Estate and for such other orders as the case requires. H. Regenburg, Atty. State of Louisiana 11th District Court Parish of Union The premises considered, it is ordered, adjudged and decreed that the within application be advertised according to law. It is further ordered that Wm. C. Smith, Recorder &c do make an Inventory and appraisement of all of the property belonging to the said Estate of Thomas Sisson, Decd. Guthrie, Clerk State of Louisiana 11th District Court Parish of Union I, Ellen Sisson, so solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all and singular the duties Incumbent upon me as Administratrix of the Estate of Thomas Sisson, Decd. according to the best of my ability and understanding. Whereas Ellen Sisson has this day been duly and legally appointed Administratrix of the Estate of Thos. Sisson, Decd. and she hath taken the oath required by law and given bond with good security. Now therefore the said Ellen Sisson is hereby duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all and singular the duties appertaining to said appointment according to law. Guthrie State of Louisiana Parish of Union Know all men by these presents that we, Ellen Sisson as principal and Charles Abscent as her security are held and firmly bound unto W. B. Egan, Judge of the 11th District Court, Parish and State aforesaid for the time being or to his successors in office in the just and full sum of [blank] dollars to the true and faithful payment thereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, assigns, executors and legal representatives firmly by these presents. Dated January 24th AD 1863. the condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Ellen Sisson has this day been duly and legally appointed Administratrix of the Estate of Thos. Sisson, Decd. and she hath confirmed with the law by taking the oath required thereby. Now, therefore if the said Ellen Sisson shall faithfully and impartially discharge all and singularly the duties incumbent on her as Administratrix of said Estate and shall faithfully account to the Judge of said court for all moneys or property received (belonging to the estate) from this or any other state and shall render a true and faithful account to the Judge of said Court of all her acts and doings in and about said Estate and whenever legally required so to do pay over all sums of money and deliver all the property of whatsoever nature belonging to said Estate to the proper person or persons to receive the same, then this obligation to be null and void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue against principal and security. C. Sisson, Deceased Whereas, Charles Abscent has this day been duly and legally appointed Administrator of the Estate of Thos. Sisson, Decd. and he has taken the oath and given bond according to Law. Now therefore, the said Charles Absent has [unreadable] full and legal authority and empowered duly to perform all the acts and doings appertaining to said appointment according to Law. The petition of Charles Abscent, a resident of your said Parish respectfully represents that Mrs. Ellen Sisson, widow of Thomas Sisson, Decd. and Administratrix of his Estate departed this life on or about the 5th day of February 1863 leaving the said Estate unsettled. He represents that he is one of the securities on this bond and therefore prays to be appointed to administer the said Estate. He represents that the Inventory all ready taken is sufficient for the present administration. He prays for such other orders and decrees as may be necessary in the premises. H. Regenburg, Atty.
