Due this day to estate 219.76 To the Honorable the Judge of this 11 Judl. Disct. Court in and for the parish of Union State of Louisiana. The petition of Maria E. VanHook Administratrix of the Estate of Thomas VanHook Decd. respectfully shows that having been duly appointed by your Honl. Court she has fully administrated upon and settled said estate and she herewith files a full complete and final account of all of her acts and proceedings in the premises from which account will appear 1st. The debits with which the admx. charges herself (8630.06). From said account also it appears that the admx. Is entitled to sundry credits as set forth in return in said account amounting in the aggregate of eight thousand four Hundred and ten and 30/100 Dollars which leaves a bal. Due to the estate for the sum of Two Hundred and nineteen and 76/100 Dollars say $219.76 which the Admx. now owes. She owes that all of the debts of the estate of which she is aware are paid and there is no necessity of prolonging the administration of the said Estate petitioner any that she is the Natrual Tutrix to the heirs of said Estate and under to said union. Wherefore she prays that this financial account be advertised according to law, that all of the Heirs in the parish be duly cited and, after the legal advertisement and delays that the forgoing account be approved and homolgated in all its parts that there be judgment for the estate and against the admrx. For the sum of Two Hundred and Nineteen 76/100 Dollars with Int. at 5 per cent from the date of Judgment and petitioner being the Tutrix of all the Heirs and the legal custodian of all their property that on the homolgation of the aforesaid account, the bond of the aforesaid admx. be cancelled and that she and her securities be theron released from all responsibility therein, for all orders and decrees necessary in the premises and for general relief. Jno. L. Barrett State of Louisiana 11th Judl. Dist. Court Parish of Union It is ordered and decreed that the petition and forgoing final acct. of Mrs. Maria VanHook as admrx. of the estate of Thos. Homolgation of final acct. 1st Vouchers filed with the final account 2nd Thos. C. Lewis Clerk, of the Dist. Court sworn says that the final account has been filed in the news paper called the "Tenny [?] South" and also by posting at the Court House door, for more than thirty days to this date and that their has been no opposition made to the same. I hereby certify the above to be all the evidence advanced on the Homolgation of the said final acct. Thos. C. Lewis, Clk. State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union In the matters of the Homolgation of the final account of the estate of Thos. VanHook, Decd. By reason of the Law and the evidence in this case and by further reason of the proper advertisement having been made to the same. It is ordered adjudged and decreed that the within and forgoing final account of Mrs. Maria E. VanHook as administratrix of the estate of Thomas VanHook, decd. be allowed approved and homolgated in all its parts according to Law. It is further ordered and decreed that there be Judgment against the Administratrix and in favor of the Estate of Thos. VanHook decd. for the sum of two hundred and nineteen and 76/100 Dollars with five percent Interest thereon [unreadable] from the date of the Judgment. It is further ordered that the bond of the administratrix be and its hereby cancelled. Done and signed in office on the 1st day of June AD 1861. Thos. C.
