The 12th Judicial district Court and to me directed and in pursuance to the advertisement hereto annexed, I offer for Sale on the 21st day of January A.D. 1860 at Public Auction to the highest and last bidder at the late residence of Robert Wallsworth, Decd. All the property belonging to the estate of the said Robert Wallsworth decd. Advertisements having been duly advertised in the Union Democrat a weekly newspaper published in the town of Farmerville, Union Parish, La. and by posting in the town of Downsville said Parish and State, which consulted as follows and purchased by the following persons respectively and for the respective amount to wit: H.G. Colvin became the purchaser of the following described Tract of land To wit: the east half of the North West quarter of the North East quarter and the North East quarter of the South East quarter, all in Section one (1) township No. Nineteen (19) North of Range No. one (1) West continuing one Hundred and Sixty acres more or less with all the improvements And uppertances there unto belonging for an in consideration of The Sum of Five hundred and Seventy Six Dollars $576.00 $576.00 J. G. Hicks became the purchaser of one Horse for and Considerations of the Sum of Thirty Dollars $30.00 30.00 Saml Lewis became the purchaser of 4 head hogs for the Sum of twenty dollars and fifty cents 20.50 Wm. Thomas became the purchaser of one Saddle for the Sum of four and 10 of 100 dollars 4.10 Wm. White became the purchaser of 1 lot of Farming Utensils for the Sum of Six and 50 of 100 dollars 6.50 J. C. Mayes became the purchaser of one Gunn for the Sum of two dollars 2.00 A. E. Wallsworth became the purchaser of 15 bushel Corn at $1.15 and 15/100 dollars per bushell 17.25 Also the household and Kitchen furniture for Twenty five dollars 25.00 42.25 L. Rem became the purchaser of 15 bushel of corn at $1.07 per bushel 16.05 Also of 200 lbs. Fodder at $1.00 2.00 18.05 P. P. Roach became the purchaser of 15 bushel corn @ $1.06 per bushel 15.90 35 bushel corn @1.05 1/2 per bushel 36.92 1/2 53.82 1/2 Amount forward Over $752.22 1/2 Amount Brot. Forward $752.22 1/2 William Thomas became the purchaser of 15 bushel corn At $1.10 per bushel 16.50 $768.72 1/2 Now therefore all the purchasers having complied with the terms of Sale as set forth in the advertizement and the respective articles as purchaser by the purchasers respectfully having been delivered to them and the said A. G. Calhoun being present and signing for himself having purchased the lands described as set forth above for and consideration of the sum of Five hundred and seventy six dollars and having complied with all the requirements of the terms of Sale, I G. M. Dixon as administrator of the Estate of Robert Wallsworth, Decd. Do by the presents bargain Sell transfer convey and deliver unto the said A. G. Calhoun his heirs and assigns all interest title and claims to the said land that the Estate of said Robert Wallsworth, Decd. Has to said land rederving a special mortgage and foreslys [sic] or the same the said A. G. Calhoun present and signing for himself does by these present mortgage hypothicate and a ________ to the said George M. Dixon, Admr. of the Est. of Robert Wallsworth Decd. And his heir and assign the said described tract of Land for the punctual payments of the purchased price interest and sale cost that accrued in this Land. Mfarth [sic] whereof I have hereto signed my name to this process value with A. G. Calhoun in the presents of J. c. Mays and P. P. Roach. Calhoun Succession Sale State of Louisiana Parish of Union In pursuance of an order issued from the 12th Judicial District Court in and for the said Parish and State and to me decreed, I will offer for Sale at public action to the highest and last bidder, at the late residence of Robert Wallsworth, decd. On the third Saturday in January 1860 all the personal property belonging to the Estate of robert Wallsworth, Decd., to wit: 160 acres of Land, 15 Head of Hogs more or less, 1 Horse, 75 Bushels of corn more or less, House Hold and Kitchen furniture, Farming utensils &c.
