White Union Parish Louisiana Succession Book G, pp. 1 – 2 ================================================================================== ================================================================================== To the Honorable the Judge or the Clerk of the 11th Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union, State of Louisiana. The petition of John C. B. White, a resident of your Parish and State respectfully shows that Jesse W. White, Eugine C. White and Nancy E. White are his legitimate children, issue of his marriage with Nancy E. Tubb, Decd. That he is their natural Tutor and he therefore prays your Honorable Court that he be recognized and confirmed as the Natural Tutor of said minor children and he would suggest that Jesse F. Fuller be appointed Under tutor to said minors and that letters of tutorship issue in accordance with is prayer for all necessary orders &c and for general relief &c. Jno. L. Barrett, Atty. State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District Court Parish of Union The law and evidence authorizing the same, it is hereby ordered that the prayer of the above petitioner be granted and that John C. B. White be and he is hereby recognized and confirmed as Natural Tutor and Jesse F. Fuller is hereby appointed Under Tutor to the minors Jesse W. White, Eugine C. White and Nancy E. White and they having taken the required oath that letters of Tutorship and Under tutorship do issue accordingly. Done and signed in office on this June 24th 1868. J. W. White do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all the duties incumbent upon me as Natural tutor of my following name minor children to wit: Jesse W. White, Eugine C. White and Nancy E. White, heirs of the Estate of Nancy E. tubs, Deceased according to the best of my ability and understanding. So help me God. J. C. B. State of Louisiana 11th Judicial District court Parish of Union Whereas, John C. B. White has been duly and legally appointed Natural Tutor of his following minor children to wit: Jesse W., Eugine V. and Nancy E. White, heirs of the Estate of Nancy E. Tubb, Deceased and he has taken the oath prescribed by law. Now therefore the said John C. B. White is hereby duly and legally authorized and empowered to do and perform all the acts appertaining to the said appointment according to law.
