Parish of Union
Personally or by their agents came and appeared before me Reuben Ellis 
Recorder in and for said Parish, Wilkes, L W, S W, Mary Ramsey of this Parish 
& State & John Ramsey of Bradley County, Ark. M McFarland of Union Parish La 
and D B & G W Ramsey of Jackson Parish Louisiana who declares that they have 
this day bargained sold and delivered unto James Ramsey and Humphrey W Ramsey 
of Union Parish La a certain tract or parcel of land Lying and being situated 
in this parish Known & designated as follows, to wit:
The North East Quarter E 1/4 of Section thirty five in Township Twenty two 
North of Range Two West containing thirty nine & nine hundredths acres the 
property of the Estate of James Ramsey deceased for and in consideration of a 
part of the Interest of James & H W Ramsey in said Estate to have and to hold 
the same to their only proper use & benefit forever we the above named Heirs 
of said Estate do by these presents warrant all the title that we have or may 
have from ourselves our heirs or assigns forever to the said James & H W 
Ramsey their Heirs or assigns forever.
In testimony whereof we the above named Heirs or by our agents have signed our 
names in the presence of the Parish Recorder and W A Glosson & D R Delk males 
of age and residents of said Parish on this the 10th day of Jan 1851 James 
Ramsey being present and accepting the same for himself.
