Jameson, Spearsville, Union Parish Louisiana Union Parish, LA Deed Book H, p. 259 Written: October 3, 1854 Recorded: August 4, 1857 ======================================================================================= ======================================================================================= The State of Louisiana Parish of Union Know all men by these presents that I Alexander Spears of the State and Parish aforesaid in and for the consideration of fifty dollars in hand paid hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto David M. Jameson his heirs and assigns forever the following Lands Viz commencing on the line deeded to Goyne then running East along where Arrington’s fence now stands to the land deeded to Wamble including Arrington’s fence to himself containing four Acres more or less lying and being between Arrington’s line and the ???? Hollow to have and to hold his heirs and assigns to their proper use and behoof forever, and the said Alexander Spears for himself and his heirs and assigns to the said David M. Jameson shall and will warrant forever defend against the Lawful claims of all persons whomsoever by these presents, Done and passed within parish and state aforesaid in the presents of J.R. Goyne and J.C. Beck witnesses of Lawful and domesticated in the said parish and who here unto sign their names together with said parties on the 3rd Day of October AD 1854 J.R. Goyne A. Spears J.C. Beck D.C. Jameson Sate of Louisiana Parish of Union Personally came and appeared before me William C. Smith Recorder & Ex Office notary public in and for said parish & state J.R. Goyne one of the subscribing witnesses to the within transfer who being duly sworn by me says the he saw the parties A. Spears & D. M. Jameson sign their names to the same & that he and J.C. Beck signed with the said parties as witnesses at the same time & place, Sworn to and subscribed be for me on this 1st day of August AD 1857 Wm. C. Smith J.R.
