It is noted that George Feazle did not use the spelling Feazel for his family and descendants. The Feazel-Gresham Historical Society worked on this history in 1969 sending out hundreds of letters for information request containing self-addressed stamped envelopes, and drove many miles visiting relatives, cemeteries and court houses to obtain this data. We shared our research with LaJoy McCarley of Ft. Worth. She took our stories and did her own book...copyrighting our material even though she contributed very little if anything to our research. Mrs. Linda Feazle made several trips from Oregon and was able to meet the Texas and Louisiana relatives. What fun we had getting to know each other. She lived to be one hundred seven years old. Her daughter wrote us before her death, telling how her Mom was having wheel chair races in the hall of the nursing home. Most of the Feazel Gresham historians are now deceased. Only Wade Feazle and I are living. Wade was born in 1911 and is a resident of Huntsville, Texas. I only hear from him at Christmas. He is now 88 years old and has buried two wives since 1969. # # #
