Smith, Clerk Edward Everett, Deputy Clerk's Office Parish of Union Farmerville, LA Sept 7, 1897 My own darling little Eva girl, As I hope to see you this evening or tomorrow, will only write you a short note. I will leave for Calhoun this morning and I may go to Ruston from there on this evenings train. If not will probably go tomorrow. Darling I am so glad you are improving & pray the Lord my sweet little darling will soon be fully restored to perfect health. Take good care of your sweet self until I see you.
