Huff, 4 Dec 1877 - 18 Feb 1879 Alfred J. Ward, 19 Feb 1879 - 3 June 1879 [Office changed to Ward's Mills in Claiborne Parish on 4 June 1879. [Alfred J. Ward served as the first postmaster of Ward's Mills Post Office in Claiborne Parish. It was changed to "Wards Mills" on 1 Dec 1894, and on 31 Aug 1898, the office was closed with mail forwarded to Junction City in Arkansas.] ================================================================================== COMMENTS: This office was very near the Claiborne Parish line in northwestern Union Parish.
