HISTORY OF CENTER POST OFFICE:
    office ordered closed 17 September 1906, effective 31 October 1906, with mail 
           forwarded to Bernice

Archie Eugene Redden, 29 Feb 1904 - 10 Nov 1904
John F. (or T.) Cole, 11 Nov 1904 - 26 Nov 1905

COMMENTS:

Center Post Office was located in southwestern Union Parish, apparently in Section 
1, Township 20 North, Range 2 West, just north of Bayou D'Arbonne (now Lake 
Darbonne).
