HISTORY OF CLAYTON POST OFFICE:
    Discontinued on 2 March 1894, with mail forwarded to Carroll Post Office.

E. W. Fuller, 2 June 1893 - 27 June 1893

W. S. Pickens, 28 June 1893 - 1 March 1894

COMMENTS:

This office was located a few miles southeast of Spearsville, apparently near the 
home of the first postmaster in or around Sections 3, 4, 9, or 10 Township 22 
North Range 2 West.
