    19 March 1906


HISTORY OF EARL POST OFFICE:
    ordered closed 15 November 1906, effective 30 November 1906, with mail forwarded 
            to Farmerville 


POSTMASTERS:

COMMENTS:

Earl was located in central Union Parish northeast of Farmerville, on the railroad 
line between Farmerville and Marion. I do not know the precise location, but it 
was apparently in or near Sections 11 or 12, Township 21 North, Range 1 East, 
a short ways southwest of the De Loutre settlement and near Railroad Creek.
