Jones, 30 Jan 1901 - 7 May 1911 Lafayette Brantley, 8 May 1911 - 26 May 1914 Benjamin F. Tubb, 27 May 1914 - 27 Feb 1915 [Office discontinued 28 Feb 1915, with mail forwarded to Lillie.] ================================================================================== COMMENTS: #1 Postal service records indicate that the Louter post office was located between the Lone Well Office that closed in 1884 and the Laran office that opened in 1916 after the Louter office was closed. If correct, the Louter office must have been in Section 16, Township 23 North, Range 1 West. #2 Louter's last postmaster, Benjamin Franklin Tubb, opened the Laran Post Office the year after Louter was closed. ###########################################################
